Adrian Leon Allen

CENTRAL CITY -- Adrian Leon Allen, 61, of Central City died at 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. He was born Jan. 5, 1949, in Muhlenberg County. He was a steel worker for Wingle Steel in Rosemont, Ill., a Baptist and an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Deppie and Adrian Allen; and several sisters and brothers.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Teresa Vick Allen of Nelson Creek; two sons, Troy Allen of Central City and Norman (Jennifer) Allen of Graham; three daughters, Tina (Josh) Beatty of Graham, Shauna Jones of Powderly and Bobbie Vincent of Central City; 16 grandchildren, Katie and Hailey Allen, Hunter, Dylan and Nathan Beatty, Trenton, Libby, Hannah, Braxton, Carson and Ethan Allen, Morgan Dukes, Branden and Hayden Fields, Andrew Jones and Whitney Allen; two brothers, Elmer (Retha) Allen of Central City and Dallas (Debbie) Allen of Lamont, Ill.; and a sister, Nora Richards of Benton, Ariz.

Services are at 2 p.m. Monday at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with the Rev. Brian Haire officiating. Burial will be in Nelson Creek Cemetery. Visitation is after 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
