SACRAMENTO- Alex William Baucum, age 12, of Sacramento passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Baptist Health in Madisonville. Mr. Baucum was born in Madisonville on January 7, 2005. He was a member of Sacramento Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He loved Western Kentucky Basketball, his bike, his tree house in the woods, taking things apart and never putting them back together. He loved to shoot guns, and he loved his best friend Channing. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, William Logsdon; great-grandmother, Glena "Tootsie" Martin; great-grandparents Herman and Sarah Belle Patterson.

Survivors include his mother, Cassandra "Casey" (Clyde) Nesmith; father, Chad Baucum; sisters, Sophie Nesmith, Callie Baucum; brother, Braxton Baucum; grandparents, Susan Logsdon, Bruce and Charlotte Baucum; uncle, Casey Baucum, great-grandfather, Bobby Martin.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Tucker Memorial Chapel in Sacramento with Rev. Kevin Brantley officiating and Rev. John Butler assisting. Burial will be in the Sacramento Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, December 18, 2017 at 5:00 PM at the funeral home.
