CENTRAL CITY - Arthur Earl "Butch" Shaw, 47, of Central City, died Thursday, April 13, 2017, at 7:15PM at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Mr. Shaw was born April 10, 1970, in Alton, Illinois. He was a CNA at Sparks Nursing Home. He was a hot wheel collector, and enjoyed motorcycles and cars. He especially loved his children, grandchildren, and spending time with all of his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Jordan Shaw; and brother Marshall Shaw.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa Jernigan; sons Dillon (Courtney) Shaw and Jeremy (Emily) Payton, both of Central City; daughter Almeada (Eric) Travis of Central City; mother Glenda Shaw of Central City; brothers Duane Shaw, Jerry Shaw, and Jimmy Shaw; sisters Lavonda Bratcher and Angie Shaw; grandchildren Kinley, Autumn, Allison, and James; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 15, 2017, at 1:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Mike DeArmond officiating. Burial in Old Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday after 10:00AM at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Arthur Shaw Memorial Fund, c/o Tucker Funeral Home, P.O.
