BREMEN - Barbara Jean Timmons, 71, of Bremen, met her heavenly father at her home on Friday, August 5, 2016, at 6:30AM, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Timmons was born August 6, 1944, in Indianapolis, IN. She was an assembly line worker at G.E. in Madisonville, retiring in 2004. She was of the Baptist faith. She loved children and babies, especially her great-grandchildren. She also loved bowling. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Irene Davidson; her grandparents; and three brothers.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Chester N. Timmons, whom she married on August 13, 1964; daughter Norma (Brian Head) Jones of Utica; son Jimmie (fiancee' April) Timmons of Booneville, IN; grandson Casey (Sarah) Jones of Bremen; granddaughters Rachel (Mark) Sutton of Owensboro and Kayla Todd of Henderson; three great-grandchildren; sisters Florence (Allen) Scott of Heltonville, IN, Carolyn Klingler of Silver City, NM, Janet Shelton of Silver City, NM, and Mary Yoppolo of Glendale, AZ; brothers Tommy (Nancy) Rominger of Richardsonville, VA, Harley (Sandy) Floerke of Indianapolis, IN, and Jr. Shelton of Chicago, IL; sisters-in-laws, brothers-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and special friend Margorie Crutcher.

Funeral services will be Sunday, August 7, 2016, at 2:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Steve McElvain officiating, assisted by Rev. Danny Greene. Burial in Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday after 5:00PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
