CENTRAL CITY--- Benny Holmes, 50, died Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at the Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. Mr. Holmes was born in Framingham, Massachusetts on August 2, 1964, and worked as a welder for Piper Saw Shop. He was a member of the Baptist faith and of the Big Blue Nation. Preceded in death by his father, Kenneth R. Holmes; sister, Dorothy Patterson; grandmother, Gertrude Dunning.

Survivors include his companion, Ann Pointer of Central City; sons, Kenneth Roy Holmes, Cameron Holmes, and Kyle Emerick all of Central City; mother, Retha Nell Cunningham of Central City; sisters, Carol Smith, Sheila Church, Susan Willoughby all of Central City, Cynthia Holmes and Kristi Berry of Owensboro; brother, Brian Holmes of Owensboro; second mother, Connie Holmes of Owensboro; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 AM on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Chris Caskey officiating. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Owensboro Visitation will be Friday, October 17, 2014 at 5:00 PM at Tucker Funeral Home. Online condolences can be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
