COOPERTOWN, TN - Beverly Phyllis Byrd Davis, 57, of Coopertown, TN, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018. Phyllis was born May 8, 1960, in Greenville, KY, graduated from Central City High School, and attended Murray State University. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church in Central City. She was retired from the Florida Department of Children and Families and loved her co-workers like a second family. Her passions were gardening, crocheting, cooking, and spoiling her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She also loved spending time with her grand-kitties, Reese and Sofia, and the late Louie the wonder dog. One of Phyllis' greatest joys was hosting the annual Thanksgiving extravaganza for family and friends. She had an amazing smile and her love and friendship was cherished by all. Phyllis was truly a bright star in all of our lives.

Phyllis is survived by her husband of 37 years, Michael Davis; daughters Stephanie Davis (Zachary Nickle) and Kimberly Davis; brother David (Becky) Byrd; and sisters Sarah (Mickey) McKee and Charlotte (Dal) Cottrell. She was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Margaret Byrd of Central City.

Funeral services will be Sunday, May 6, 2018, at 2:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Pastor Dal Cottrell officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 5-8PM at the funeral home.
