CENTRAL CITY - Billy Fay Mayhugh, 85, of Central City, died Sunday, December 6, 2015, at 11:09AM at his home. Mr. Mayhugh was born March 3, 1930, in Muhlenberg County. He was retired from Green River Power Plant, where he worked as a shift supervisor. He was a charter member and elder at New Testament Christian Church. He was also a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Callie Mayhugh; and brother J.C. Mayhugh.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Sharp Mayhugh; sons William D. (Sherry) Mayhugh and Mark (Angie) Mayhugh, all of Central City; daughter Linda Fay (Donald) Pogue of Central City; grandsons Christopher (Chassidy) Mayhugh, Steven Mayhugh, and Dustin Woosley; great-grandchildren Payton Mayhugh and Bella Mayhugh; and brother Danny Mayhugh of Central City.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 9, 2015, at 1:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. George Carman officiating, assisted by Bro. Matt Adams. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday after 4:00PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at
