CENTRAL CITY - Bobby J. Davis, 70, of Central City, died Friday, October 7, 2011 at 12:20AM at The Medical Center in Bowling Green. Mr. Davis was born August 17, 1941 in Muhlenberg County. He was a coal miner and member of Richardson Chapel General Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Dennison Davis; son Dave (Jamie) Davis of Pickerington, Ohio; daughter Tamara (Scott) Oldham of Bowling Green; grandchildren Taylor Davis and Jenny O.; brothers Ed (Doy) Davis of Bremen, Curtis (Mary) Davis of Bremen, Tommy (Kitty) Davis of Hanson, and Rev. T.H. (Shirley) Davis of Greenville; and sister-in-laws Mary Alice Davis and Mickie Welborn, both of Central City.

Funeral services will be Sunday, October 9, 2011 at 1:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. T.H. Davis officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 5-8PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at
