CENTRAL CITY – Bobby Joe Withrow, 86, of Central City, died Thursday, November 12, 2020, at 8:03PM at his daughter's residence in Caneyville. Mr. Withrow was born December 1, 1933, in Muhlenberg County. He worked in insurance sales and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alma and Foster Withrow; and brothers John Withrow and J.V. Withrow.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Rowans Withrow of Central City; daughter Kelly (Robert) Maeser of Caneyville; grandchildren Jeremy (Brittany) Jones, James Brandon Jones, Brandon Alan (Lauren) Maeser, and Matthew Alan (Candice) Maeser; nine great-grandchildren; nephews Michael (Shirley) Withrow and Patrick Withrow, and several other nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be Saturday, November 21, 2020, at 3:00PM at Fairmount Cemetery in Central City with Rick Hampton officiating. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hosparus Health of Central Kentucky, 105 Diecks Drive, Elizabethtown, KY 42702. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Family and friends who are attending the visitation or funeral service are asked to wear a face mask for the safety of all those in attendance, in accordance with the governor's mandate.
