BEECHMONT - Bobby Neil Anderson, 92, of Beechmont, died Sunday, May 12, 2019, at 1:59PM at Maybelle Carter Living in Madison, TN. Mr. Anderson was born September 14, 1926, in Muhlenberg County. He was a newspaper publisher and member of Union Hill Baptist Church in Goodlettsville, TN. He was the previous owner of the Expositor newspaper in Sparta, TN. He also worked for the Times Argus and Leader News, and was manager of WMTA radio station. He was the editor and publisher of the Trenton Weekly Gazette, and was a songwriter and author. He was also a U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Logie Anderson; and daughter Vicki Copeland.

He is survived by his son, Steve (Margaret) Anderson of Goodlettsville, TN; daughters Rita Wilson of Springfield and Sheila (Frank) Richards of Greenville; grandchildren Bryan Wilson, Dana (David) Smith, Laura Montgomery, Wesley (Erika) Miller, and Will Richards; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday, May 16, 2019, at 11:00AM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home, with Tom Sexton officiating. Burial in Old Hebron Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 7-9PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at
