ANTIOCH, TN. – Bobby Ray Dukes, 83, of Antioch, died Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Southern Hill Hospital in Nashville. Born November 3, 1930 in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, he was a line atap at the Nashville Tennessean Newspaper, a member of the Dickerson Road Baptist Church and an U. S. Army veteran. He is preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Anna Luckett Dukes, two brothers, M. B. Dukes and Norman "Chig" Dukes, and four sisters, Jenny Peay, Helen Baker, Roberta Williams and Mary Margaret Dukes.

Survivors include two sisters, Patsy Mack of Nashville, TN and Recie Hankins of Morgantown, KY, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Leamon Mefford, with burial to follow in the Union Ridge Cemetery in Belton. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Thursday after 8:00 AM at the funeral home.
