GREENVILLE- Brenda Joyce Carver, 75, of Greenville died Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Mrs. Carver was born in Penrod, Kentucky on October 22, 1942. She attended Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church. She loved her husband of 54 years, her children and had special relationships with her grandchildren. Some of her passions included preparing favorite foods for her grandchildren. She loved gardening and growing home grown tomatos and flowers. Mrs. Carver is preceded in death by her parents, Aubrey Skipworth and Ruby Odell Skipworth, and a grandchild, Tatum Hope Carver.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, James Carver; sons, Tim (Marty) Carver of Greenville; Jon (Jill) Carver of Greenville; daughter, Amy (Chad) Gregory of Greenville; grandchildren, Ethan, Andrew, Tyler, Landon, Dillan, Lauren, Owen, Hayden; sisters, Wanda (Bobby) Lovell of Greenville, Linda (Dwight) Wells of Greenville, Jeanie (David) Danks of Lewisburg; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 4, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Rev. Scott Casebier officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 5:00 PM at the funeral home. Online condolences can be made at
