Surprise, AZ- Curtis Truman Gossett, 79, of Surprise, Arizona, formerly of Bremen, died July 24, 2011 at Arrowhead Community Hospital in Glendale, Arizona at 10:49 AM. Born in Muhlenberg County on April 11, 1932 Curtis worked as a production foreman for the Chrysler Corporation. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints.

He is survived by his wife, Faye Carter Gossett of Surprise, Arizona; a son, Danny Gossett of St. Claire, Missouri; two daughters, Lisa Gossett of Glendale, Arizona and Debbie Gossett of Peoria, Arizona; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; brothers, Charles Gossett of Bremen, Joe Gossett of Granite City, Illinois, and Bob Gossett of O'Fallon, Missouri; three sisters Mae Dean Ashton of Salt Lake City, Utah, June Warren of Symrna, Tennessee, and Elaine Chester of Tallahasee, Florida.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 30, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bishop Micky Strader officiating the services. Burial will follow in Shavers Chapel Cemetery in Bremen. Visitation will be held Friday, July 29, 2011 after 5:00 PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City.
