BEECHMONT - Darrin Scott Coe, 47, of Beechmont died Thursday, October 28, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Coe was born in Muhlenberg County on November 11, 1962. He was a Deputy Jailer at the Muhlenberg County Detention Center and was a member of Hazel Creek Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Neil Coe.

Survivors include his wife, Laura Susan Smith Coe; sons Caleb Scott Coe and William Cameron Coe, both of Beechmont; mother Juanita Pearl Fulkerson Coe of Beechmont; brothers Marlin Neil (Phyllis) Coe of Russellville and Casey Bradford (Lana) Coe of Central City; sisters Keitha Lea Coe (Russ) Brown of Bowling Green and Brandi LaDawn Coe (Chris) Jones of Greenville; a brother-in-law, Dale (Kim) Smith of Murfreesboro, TN; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday, November 1, 2010 at 1:00PM at Hazel Creek Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. Terry Chaney officiating. Burial will be in Horton's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday after 3:00PM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home. Mr. Coe will lie in state at the church from 9:00AM Monday until the time of the funeral.
