CENTRAL CITY - Darris Gray Everly, 81, of Central City, died Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at Baptist Health in Madisonville. Mr. Everly was born October 22, 1936, in Muhlenberg County. He was a retired teacher with the Muhlenberg County Board of Education. He was also a member of Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church and Lighthouse Baptist Church, and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Mary Louise Everly; and brother Bro. Ted Everly.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Winkelman Everly; sons Michael Martin, David Martin, Mark Everly, Douglas Everly, and Lynn Everly; daughter Stephanie Everly Gonzalez; eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister Connie Everly Giageos; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 20, 2018, at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Mike Graber officiating, assisted by Rev. Nick Forsythe. Burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday after 5:00PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
