GREENVILLE - Donald Scott Thomasson, 53, of Greenville, died Monday, March 7, 2016, at 8:44AM at his home. Mr. Thomasson was born July 19, 1962, in Muhlenberg County. He was a butcher at IGA, Food World, and Houchen's grocery stores, and a member of Second Baptist Church in Greenville.

He is survived by his mother, Brenda Hurt of Greenville; father Jerry (Gayla) Thomasson of Greenville; sons Kevin Thomasson of Drakesboro and Bobby Duncan of Greenville; daughters Taylor (Phillip) Lanier of Drakesboro and Amber (Michael) Randolph of Greenville; eleven grandchildren; and sister Cindy (Bobby) Laster of Greenville.

Funeral services will be Thursday, March 10, 2016, at 2:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Bob Thurman officiating, assisted by Rev. Kevin Milburn. Burial in Carter Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday after 5:00PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
