CENTRAL CITY - Donnie F. Jones, 74, of Central City, died Saturday, January 1 at the Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. He was born in Muhlenberg Co. Ky on February 14, 1936 to the late Clarence and Ruth Day Jones. He was retired and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Central City.

Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Shelby Jones of Central City, a son, Roger(Laura)Jones of Central City, two daughters, Becky(Aubrey)Lewis of Central City and LaDonna(Todd)Culbertson of Powderly, seven grandchildren, Bradley Lewis, Christina Belt, Jordan Lewis, Ashleigh Jones, Brittney Jones, Keely Culbertson and Allie Culbertson, four great grandchildren, Jesse Lewis, Kanaan Lewis, Sebastian Lewis and Ella Belt, two brothers, Darrel(Lois)Jones of Columbus, Ohio and Billy(Phyllis)Jones of Greenville, a sister in law, Beatrice Jones of Greenville, KY.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 4 at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Rev. Bob Lowery officating with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City. Visitation will be after 4:30 PM on Monday and after 8:00 AM on Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
