CENTRAL CITY – Dorothy Rekar Hamm, 79, of Central City, died Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at 4:13AM under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. Mrs. Hamm was born March 29, 1941, in Cook Co., Illinois. She was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Hamm, Sr.; parents Anton Joseph and Jeanette Rekar; and brother Robert Rekar.

She is survived by her sons, Everett Hamm, Jr. and James Hamm; daughters Loretta Tongate, Carol Turner, and Catherine Dennis; step-daughter Dorothy Jean Gray; nine grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brothers Anthony Rekar and August Rekar; and sister Josephine Harland.
