CENTRAL CITY – Emma Laura Whitehouse Linville, 88, of Central City, died Tuesday, July 28, 2020, at 7:00PM at Baptist Health in Louisville. Mrs. Linville was born October 14, 1931, in Muhlenberg County. She was a homemaker and member of Crossing Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leonard Earl Linville; precious son Donald Ray Linville; beloved daughter-in-law Rita Linville; mother Thelma Louise Hatley; father Lonnie B. Whitehouse; and sister Grace Pfende.

She is survived by her daughters, Dorothy M. (John) Linville of Louisville, Mary (Chuck) Gantt of South Carolina, and Linda (Mark) Six of South Carolina; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; 7 step-children; and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Sunday, August 2, 2020, at 2:00PM at Crossing Holiness Church, with Rev. Clifford Lovell officiating. Burial in New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 5-8PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City and Sunday after 11:00AM at Crossing Holiness Church. In compliance with health and public safety directives, capacity will be limited in accordance with state guidelines. Online condolences may be made at
