ISLAND - Emory Earl Hoagland, Sr., 92, of Island, died Saturday, February 11, 2017, at 11:00 PM at Riverside Manor in Calhoun, KY. Mr. Hoagland was born November 1, 1924 , in McLean County, KY. He was self employed as a Dozer Operator and a member of Sacramento Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Mr. Hoagland was a U.S. Army WWII veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Hoagland; son, Mark Lynn Hoagland; two daughters, Sharon Gail Hoagland and Nita Jean Hoagland.

He is survived by two sons, Steve Hoagland of Island, KY and Emory "Chip" Earl Hoagland, Jr. and his wife, Michele of Island, KY; Four Grandchildren, Brandi Long, Stephen Guy Hoagland, Nathan Drew Hoagland and Travis Dale Hoagland; and Several Great-Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, February 16, 2017, at 1:00 PM at Tucker Memorial Chapel in Sacramento, with Rev. Kevin Brantley officiating. Burial in Sacramento Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday after 5:00 PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at
