CENTRAL CITY- Freddie Dow Brackett, 71, of Central City died Sunday, September 4, 2016 at Kindred Maple Manor in Greenville. Mr. Brackett was born in Muhlenberg County on September 9, 1944. Mr. Brackett was a service technician at Western Kentucky Gas and Atmos Energy and a member of 1st Presbyterian Church in Central city. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sue Brackett; parents, Lorenzo and Margie Brackett.

Survivors include his son, Billy (Delisa Greenwood) Brackett of Central City; sister, Benita Brackett of Central City; nieces, Cheri Webb of Midland, Robin Clark of Central City; nephew, Eddie Vincent of Midland; sister in law, Janice (Larry) Campbell of Central City.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 12:00 PM at Fairmount Cemetery in Central City with Rev. John Culbertson officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 10:30 AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Fairmount Cemetery.
