GREENVILLE - Gary Lane Bethel, 65, of Greenville, died Sunday, January 1, 2017, at 3:40PM at Baptist Health in Madisonville. Mr. Bethel was born November 28, 1951, in Cleveland, Ohio. He was a carpenter. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Stobaugh Bethel.

He is survived by his sister, Deena Bethel of Greenville; father J.C. Bethel of Greenville; niece Stephane Ward (Dewayne Sigers) of Greenville; great-nieces Racheal (Brett) Hobgood of Bremen and Danielle Ward of Greenville; great-great-nephew Hayden Hobgood of Bremen; and great-great-niece Jaycee Hobgood of Bremen.
