GREENVILLE - George Thomas Drea, 66, of Greenville, died Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Continue Care Hospital LTACH in Madisonville after a lengthy illness. Mr. Drea was born May 13, 1951, in Carlsbud, New Mexico to James and Giula Drea of Central City. He graduated from Drakesboro High School in 1969. George proudly owned and operated his heating and cooling business, Drea Enterprises, for over 35 years, and also served the people of our community as a police officer with the Central City police department for over 20 years. He enjoyed skeet shooting with his friends, piddling in his garage, taking care of the birds and squirrels in his yard, and grilling out. He always had a good joke and loved making others laugh. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Giula Drea; and sister Sunshine (Debra) Drea.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda Buskill Drea; daughters Tara (Steven) Jennette and Audrea Drea; son Alex Drea; granddaughter Arden Jennette; step-daughter Kim (Bruce) Smiley; step-son Craig (Heather) Johnson; and step-grandchildren Meghan Williams and Cody Johnson.

Funeral services will be Thursday, May 3, 2018, at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Leroy Rearden officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday after 5:00PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
