GREENVILLE - Gerald Barney Harper, 60, of Greenville, died Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 8:00AM at his home. Mr. Harper was born April 10, 1952 in Muhlenberg County. He was a heavy equipment operator with the Kentucky Highway Department and was a member of Central City Masonic Lodge. Mr. Harper enjoyed spending time with his grandson Michael. He enjoyed all outdoor activities, including hunting, fishing, and motorcycle riding. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Mable Harper; and sisters Wilma Braden, Thelma Jones, and Aretta King.

Survivors include his daughters, Thelma (Jason) Putman and Anna (Marvin) Knight; brother James (June) Harper; and grandson Michael Putman.

Funeral services will be Friday, June 1, 2012 at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Jewel Martin officiating. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday after 5:00PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
