BREMEN - Gladys M. Hobgood, 77, of Bremen, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2014, at 10:05PM at Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Mrs. Hobgood was born August 6, 1936 in Muhlenberg County. She was a homemaker and member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Bremen. She was preceded in death by her parents, Omie and Myrtle McPherson, and brothers Ronnie McPherson and Danny McPherson, all from Bremen.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Frank Hobgood; daughters Sharon Vincent of Bremen, Elaine (Don) Newcom of Bremen, Vickie (Larry) Latham of Elkton, and Lisa (Jet) Mercer of Greenville; eight grandchildren; one step-granddaughter; four great-grandchildren; brother Charles (Jock) McPherson of Bremen; and sister Sue Tabb of Bremen.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 2:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Leroy Rearden officiating. Burial in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 5-8PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
