GREENVILLE - Hazel Lee Peterson, 86, of Greenville, died Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at 6:46PM at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Mrs. Peterson was born September 24, 1930, in Muhlenberg County. She was a homemaker and lifelong member of Sharon General Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Peterson; parents Netter and Lena Rolley Sr.; sister Daisy Hammonds; and brother Netter Rolley Jr.

She is survived by her son, Ricky (Beverly) Peterson of Greenville; daughters Regenia (Donnie) Lovell and Ronda (Wendell) Griffin, both of Greenville; grandchildren Jerrod (Tracy) Hearld, Jennifer (John) Finley, Stacy (Harold) Wester, Bailey Peterson, and Sarah Ruth Peterson; great-grandchildren Isaac Springer and Eli Finley; brother W.H. (Sue) Rolley of Greenville; and sisters Martha Sherrod, Ovenia (Aubrey) Lee, and Shelby Graham, all of Greenville.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 1, 2017, at 2:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Darren Pentecost officiating, assisted by Bro. Autry Moore. Burial in Greens Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday after 5:00PM and Saturday after 11:00AM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at
