CENTRAL CITY - Hazel Mae Tunget, known to her family and friends as "Mimi", went home to be with the Lord. She died at her home in Central City on Thursday, December 27, 2018, at 2:27AM. She was 97. Born November 16, 1921 in Muhlenberg County, Hazel Mae Milligan Tunget was the daughter of the late Elmer and Della Milligan. She was a member of Martwick Baptist Church and retired from General Electric. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Ike Milligan; and sisters Ruby Tomblinson and Cora Mathern.

She is survived by her daughter Phyllis (Jerry) Alexander; grandchildren Darla Jill Alexander, Amy (Bart) Spurlin, and Kelli (Scott) Barbee; great-grandchildren Whitney, Alec, Ethan, Amelia, Maddi, and Nate; brothers Charles (Louise) Milligan, Jimmy (Nancy) Milligan, and E.C. (Dottie) Milligan; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Sunday, December 30, 2018, at 2:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Matt McIntosh officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday after 5:00PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
