BOWLING GREEN- Jackie "Jack" Martin Cobb Jr., 49, of Bowling Green died Friday, February 23, 2018 at his residence. Mr. Cobb was born in Hopkins County on January 11, 1969. He was a professional writer and was a non-denominational Christian. He was preceded in death by his father, Jackie Martin Cobb Sr.

Survivors include his mother, Sarah Ann (Barry) Shelton of Greenville; sister, Jennifer (Brent) Hardison of Greenville; nephew, Ben Hardison of Greenville; niece, Baker Hardison; step-grandmother, Joyce Shelton of Greenville.

Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Ron Roundtree, Thad Crews, and Tammy Crews officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday after 11:30 AM at the funeral home. Online condolences can be made at

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Scholarship Fund in remembrance of Jack Martin Cobb, c/o College Heights Foundation, Western Kentucky University, 1906 College Heights Blvd 41016., Bowling Green, KY 42101. There are a variety of ways individuals can make contributions in memory of Jack Martin Cobb. The College Heights Foundation will provide contributions envelopes to the funeral home as a convenience, and we will also provide to other interested parties as necessary.
