POWDERLY- Jacob Scott Baize, 24, of Powderly died Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. Mr. Baize was born in Muhlenberg County on October 6, 1992, he was a assembly worker at Arc Auto and a member of the Baptist Faith. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Jerry Baize; grandmother, Katherine Brooks; great grandparents, Leland Jones and Justice Baize.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather Rhonda (Gerald) Brooks of Powderly; father, Phillip Scott Baize of Central City; half brother Trenton Baize of Elkton; sisters; Chelsey (Kyle) Brooks of Powderly, Katie Brooks of Powderly; grandparents, Lois Ann Baize of Greenville, Debbie and Leo Williams of Texas, Larry and Lois Griffin of Owensboro, Corky Brooks of Powderly; great-grandmother Betty Jones of Cleaton.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 6, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Wayne Rice officiating. Burial will be in New Life Cemetery in Powderly.
