GREENVILLE- Jeffery Alan Sledge, 62, of Greenville died Sunday, July 30, 2017 at The Medical Center in Bowling Green. Mr. Sledge was born in Daviess County on April 21, 1955. He was a vocation supervisor at the Job Corps and a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He loved to cook, watch Nascar racing, fishing, golfing, and remote control airplanes. He loved to spend time with all his family, especially his grandchildren. Mr. Sledge is preceded in death by his wife, Claudia Sledge, and also his father, Norman Sledge.

Survivors include his daughter, Melissa (Shane) Gray of Depoy; mother, Kathryn Sledge-Gaiser of Bowling Green; grandchildren, Blaine Alan-Lee McPherson, Madison LaShane Gray; brothers, Randy Sledge, Bobby Sledge, Scott Sledge; sisters, Marsha Roby, Kathi Nuckols; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home with Rev. Arthur Burrows officiating. Burial will be in Forest Grove Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. Sledge will be Wednesday, August 2, 2017 after 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Online condolences can be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
