BELTON - Jerry Ford, 72, of Belton, died Thursday, March 15, 2012 at 2:43PM at Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Mr. Ford was born October 1, 1939 in Muhlenberg County. He was a retired coal miner with Pittsburg & Midway Coal Co. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Novella Ford; and brothers J.B. Ford, Buddy Ford, Darrel Ford, and Jimmy Ford.

Survivors include his wife, Faye Ford; daughter Teresa (Robert) Mitchell; grandchildren Kevin Mitchell and Laura Mitchell; sisters Wanda (Joe) Garrett of Elkton, Diann (Sattar) Shamsabadi of Madisonville, and Amanda (Jon) Winburn of Oxford, MS; brothers Ricky (Phyllis) Ford of Madisonville, Mike (Katie) Ford of Oshkosh, WI, and John (Latrice) Ford of Morgantown; and step-mother Wilma Dunlop of Oxford, MS.

Funeral services will be Monday, March 19, 2012 at 1:00PM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home, with Rev. Don Garrett officiating, assisted by Rev. Richard Ford and Rev. John Ford. Burial in Old Jackson Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday after 4:00PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
