BELTON – Jimmie Ray Cobb, 77, of Belton, died Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Owensboro Medical Health System in Owensboro. He was born June 11, 1935 in Muhlenberg County, was a retired painter with the Tennessee Valley Authority, a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the Beechmont Missionary Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Roma Miller Cobb of Belton, a son Jackie Cobb of Belton, a daughter, Regina(Jeff)McPherson of Greenville, three grandchildren, Danny(Danielle)McPherson of Greenville, Sarah(Justin)Matlock of Greenville and Amber Cobb of Belton, great grandchildren, Orion, Gavin, Roland, Alora, Seth & soon to be, Sophia. a brother, Robert Cobb of Rosewood, three sisters, Betty(Ed)Lavely of Elizabethtown, Linda(Tommy)Noffsinger of Greenville, & Donna(Tim)Barbre of Greenville & several nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home in Beechmont, conducted by Rev. Bobby Allen, Rev. Jim Watt Jr. & Rev. Bobby Davis with burial to follow in the Hazel Creek Cemetery in Belton. Visitation will be after 5:00 PM Monday and after 8:00 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.
