SACRAMENTO- John Terry Stringer, age 66, of Clarksville, Tennessee, died Thursday, February 11th, 2016 at TriStar Ashland City Medical Center. Graveside services will be conducted at 1 o'clock pm, Tuesday, February 16th, at Worthington Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery, Highway 85 N, in Sacramento, Kentucky. Family will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the Austin and Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View, Tennessee, on Monday, February 15th from 4-8PM.
Mr. Stringer was born August 11, 1949 in McLean County, Kentucky to the late Arthur and Dorothy Helen Stringer. He was a retired Environmental Conservationist for the State of Tennessee in Robertson County.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Linda Ann Pierce.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Wanda Jinnett Stringer; daughters, Amy Stringer (Jason) Barrett of Clarksville, Terry Stringer (Brad) Damron; brother, Kenneth Lee (Betty) Stringer of Sacramento, Kentucky; sister, Lorena Stringer (Allen) Davis of Sacramento, Kentucky; mother-in-law, Buena Jinnett of Clarksville; and grandchildren, Gracie, Kallie, & Emma Barrett, and Evelyn Damron.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Stroudsville Church of Christ Building Fund. Donations may be sent in care of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View.
