BENTON - Kenneth Earl Strader, 65, of Benton, died Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Baptist Health in Paducah. Mr. Strader was born April 2, 1947 in Muhlenberg County. He worked in maintenance at Local 181, and was a member of Unity Cumberland Church in Benton. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Ernest Strader and Hilda Miller Strader; and brothers Robert Strader, Donnie Strader, and Richard Strader.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Phelps Strader; sons Michael Strader and William Strader; daughter Tina Dodd; seven grandchildren; and sister Faye Harlan.

Funeral services will be Sunday, February 24, 2013 at 2:00PM at Brier Creek Cumberland Presbyterian Church, with Rev. James Fulton officiating. Burial in Brier Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday after 5:00PM at Tucker Memorial Chapel in Sacramento. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to National Kidney Foundation or Wounded Warrior Project.
