CENTRAL CITY - Layne Franklin Baker, 57, of Central City, died Monday, October 28, 2013 at 11:00AM at his home. Mr. Baker was born February 1, 1956 in Muhlenberg County. He was a sales person at Central City Lumber Co., and a member of Branham Tabernacle in Jefferson, Indiana.

Survivors include his son, Blair Baker of Bowling Green; daughter Brittany Baker of Bowling Green; parents Gathiel and Billee Baker of Eddyville; and brothers Gaylan Baker of Central City and Brandon Baker of Newburgh, IN.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 1:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Donnie Wilkins officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City. Visitation will be Wednesday after 10:00AM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at
