BELTON - Lee Erman Simpson, 81, of Belton, died Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at 12:34AM at Baptist Health in Madisonville. Mr. Simpson was born December 22, 1933, in Green County. He was a master mechanic with Peabody Coal Co., and a member of Union Ridge General Baptist Church. He loved old comedy shows, reading, his animals, and especially his family. He was a man of great faith. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Loretta Simpson; son Eddie Simpson; parents Damon and Mary Simpson; and his sister and her husband, Larry and Lynn Jenkins.

He is survived by his wife, Diana Hardison Simpson; step-daughter Tracy (Paul) Houchens; step-son Cory Brewer; grandchildren Eddie Lee (Lindsey) Simpson, Sean (Cori) Simpson, Katrina (Dave) Faust, Kassie (David) March, and Justin Simpson; six step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; brothers Bobby (Katheryn) Simpson and Larry (Marsha) Simpson; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday, December 17, 2015, at 11:00AM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home, with Bro. Kerry Vincent officiating, assisted by Bro. Donald McGhee and Bro. Arnold Evans. Burial in Union Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday after 5:00PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at
