ISLAND- Nadine Wells born 12-12-1933 in Clinton County KY. Passed away with her family at her side on 9-26-2015, at Owensboro Regional Health Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Bob Wells, daughter Judy Wells and brother Gene Tuggle of Pell City Alabama. Nadine was preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Valeria Tuggle. Other survivors include Lee Tuggle, wife of Gene, as well as cherished nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews, and special friends Linda Coleman, James W. Jones Jr. and Kathy Gish.
Nadine enjoyed cooking from an early age and was skilled in decorating cakes. She was a devoted Sunday School teacher at her church for over 20 years. Nadine and Bob enjoyed camping and traveling with their daughter. Mrs, Wells was a member of the Eastern Star and a Kentucky Colonel. For several years she enjoyed volunteering at Owensboro Mercy Hospital.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Sacramento United Methodist Church in Sacramento with Rev. Michael Deaton officiating. Burial will be in Sacramento United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 5-8 PM at the church and Tuesday from 12 to funeral time at the church.
