CENTRAL CITY - Louann Young, 74, of Central City, died Sunday, December 4, 2016, at 11:10AM at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Mrs. Young was born February 16, 1942, in Muhlenberg County. She was secretary at Community Oxygen in Central City, and was a member of Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her step-son, Scott Young; and daughter Susan Pendley.

She is survived by her husband, Melvin Ray Young; son Robin (Vicky) Wolfe of Beechmont; grandchildren Kris (Kelsey) Wolfe and Matthew Wolfe; great-grandchild Kohen Wolfe; sister Jane (Roger) Mitchell of Central City; and son-in-law Tommy Pendley of Drakesboro.

Funeral services will be Thursday, December 8, 2016, at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Scott Casebier officiating, assisted by Rev. Larry Isakson. Burial in Forest Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday after 5:30PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at
