DRAKESBORO- Mary Rainwaters, 87, of Drakesboro died Friday, November 2, 2018 in the early morning hours while under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. Ms. Rainwaters was born on December 15, 1930 in Muhlenberg County, she was a member of the Drakesboro Missionary Baptist Church. She was a machine operator at Cowdens in Greenville. Mary was always involved in community activities, thumbpicking, Picking in the Park, Friend 40 Club, just to name a few. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Newman Rainwaters; sons, Michael Newman and Chester Morris Rainwaters; brother, Hershel Meeks.

Survivors include her daughters, Debra Boyd, Carolyn Rainwater, Pamela Casebier, and Melissa Dene; son, Billy Rainwaters; sisters, Hilda Garrett, Patsy Blanchard; brother, Doug Meeks; 16 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Russ Stephens officiating. Burial will follow in Highway Cemetery in Drakesboro. Visitation will be held Monday, November 5, 2018 from 5:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. Online condolences can be made at
