GREENVILLE - Mildred T. Payne, age 87, died Sunday, December 13, 2015 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville, KY. She was a homemaker and member of the 2nd Baptist Church in Greenville, KY. Mildred was born August 21, 1928 in Taylor County to the late Onie & Lena Childress Edelen. She was preceded in death by her husband James Lyle Payne, two daughters Patricia Oliver and Donna Gootee and son Barry Michael Payne.

Survivors include three sons James E. (Ula) Payne of Belton, Randall (the late Carrie) Payne of Beechmont, Ted (June) Payne of Central City; daughter Kathy DeArmond of Hopkinsville; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 1 PM at Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville, KY. Visitation will be held Monday, December 14, 2015 at 6 PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Online condolences can be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com
