CENTRAL CITY - Neville Eltry Ellison passed peacefully in his home of 37 years in Central City, KY on Thursday March 29, 2018, surrounded by family.

Born in Ambridge, PA on May 4, 1942, to Eltry Brown Ellison and Mary Bishop Stewart, Neville grew up in Moorman, Kentucky. He graduated from Bremen High School Class of 1959. Neville served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a proud member of the Masonic Lodge 596. He married the love of his life Beverly West Ellison on September 1st, 2002.

Neville was a larger than life barber for 47 years and co-owner of Ellison's Barber Shop in Central City, Kentucky with his brother Raymond. Neville was a bee farmer with many hobbies who loved travel and dining with family and friends. We will always remember his free spirit, joyous personality, and good humor. Neville could bring laughter to any room. He never met a stranger and had countless friends around the world.

Survived by his loving wife Beverly West Ellison; daughters Lara Ellison Heidorn (Taylor) and Tina Ellison Martin; grandchildren Maximus, Maverick, and Violet Heidorn, Jeremy Wayne Martin, and Cory Nicole Martin; step-sons Carroll Wayne Capps (Wayne Pittman) and James Dale Capps; step-granddaughter Chelsea Ann Capps; mother Mary Bishop Stewart; brother Raymond Ellison (Brenda); sister Wilda Gray (Ronnie); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Neville was preceded in death by his father Eltry Brown Ellison.

Graveside services only will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018, at 11:00am at New Hope Cemetery in Moorman, Kentucky, officiated by Brother Carson Bevil. Expressions of sympathy can be made to Hospice of Western Kentucky or New Hope Cemetery. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at
