FAIRDALE- Patricia "Patty" Ann Walker, age 63 of Fairdale, KY passed away peacefully at 9:55 AM at the Heartford House in Owensboro, on Saturday, January 18, 2014. She was born September 4, 1950 at Muhlenberg Community Hospital to Gerald Walker and the late Juanita Walker. She graduated from duPont Manual High School in 1968 and was of the Baptist faith. She was employed by The Brown Cancer Center in Louisville as a Medical Student Coordinator for 28 years. She also loved working with and creating crafts.

Survivors include her father, Gerald Walker of Greenville; brother, Dennis (Polly) Walker of Greenville; sister, Brenda Walker of Greenville; nephew, Michael (Jennifer) Walker of Bowling Green, KY; two nieces, Lydia Walker and Charlotte Walker of Bowling Green, KY; extended family, Karen Mudd, Ashley (Ryan) Mudd Bormann, Sarah Mudd, Rachel Mudd; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Rev. Archie Fugate officiating. Burial will be in Lone Star Cemetery in Muhlenberg County. Visitation will be Monday, January 20, 2014 at 5:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society and The Heartford House, Hospice of Western, KY. Online condolences can be made at
