CENTRAL CITY- Major Paul Michael "Mike" O'Neill was born March 18, 1939 to the late Peck and Louise O'Neill. Mike graduated from Central City High School and Oklahoma State University. He served in the Air Force. Before retiring, he worked for Peabody Coal Co. as a Safety Supervisor at River Queen then as a Security Supervisor for the Wendell H. Ford Regional Training Center. Mike was also a retired major on the Central City Volunteer Fire Dept. serving his community with over forty years of dedicated service. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Central City and also awarded a Kentucky Colonel.

He is survived by his loving wife Marian June Reed O'Neill of 44 years; their twin daughters, Amy (Eric Davis and Susan (Brandon) Grace; sister in laws, Nita Vaughn of Greenville, Norma Morris of Wyandotte, MI; brother in law, Carroll Wayne (Brenda) Reed of Central City; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Rev. Kevin Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, June 30, 2014 at 5:00 PM at the funeral home.
