BREMEN - Plinie Ann Harper, 97, of Bremen, died Tuesday, September 15, 2015, at 5:13AM at her home. Mrs. Harper was born May 19, 1918, in Hopkins County. She was a homemaker and of the Presbyterian faith. She was preceded in death by her son, James Harper; daughter Lucy Sparks and her husband Leonard Sparks; step-children Joe Harper, Earnestine Dossett, and Catherine Harper; and husband Ecklas Harper.

She is survived by her children, John (Ruth) Matheny of Ohio, Evalyn (Maxwell, deceased) Stobaugh, of Gishton, Opal (Jimmy) Woodruff of Greenville, Sue (Calvin, deceased) Dunn of Greenville, Ruby (Stewart) Rickard of Bremen, Joyce (Leamen) Griffin of Providence, Ray (Dora Lee) Harper of Bremen, Ruth (Bobby) Rust of Greenville, and Connie (George) Cornette of Florida; step-children Jane Sizemore, Dorthy Boyle, and Martine Roper; daughter-in-law Ellen Harper; 52 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She was a bright and shining star who went on to her home in Heaven. She will be missed by her family and no words will ever be spoken to tell of her greatest and the lives she touched.

Funeral services will be Thursday, September 17, 2015, at 2:00PM at Tucker Memorial Chapel in Sacramento, with Rev. Dan Yeager officiating. Burial in Shavers Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
