MADISON HEIGHTS, MI - Ray Curtis Woodman "Woodrow" Parker, 95, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2017, in Madison Heights, MI. Mr. Parker was a World War II veteran who was part of the 99th Infantry division and later the 1st Infantry. He retired from Brewer's Machines in Central City during the late 1980's as a welder and machinist. He had previously worked as a welder with companies such as Uniroyal Tire in Detroit and before the war with Boeing Aircraft in Seattle, WA. He also served in the Civilian Conservation Corps before the war. In recent years, he had attended Rochester Baptist Church, Calvary Baptist Church, and Woodson Baptist Church. He was always ready to share his faith in Christ with anyone who would listen. He was preceded in death by his spouses, Elizabeth (Mercer), Martha (Lacefield), and Mildred (Hammers); father Raymond Curtis "Jack" Parker; step-mother Edith Parker; mother Hallie McRoy; step-father John "Mack" McRoy; and brothers Raymond Parker and Leroy Parker.

Woodrow is survived by his sons, Tony (Candace) Parker of Troy, MI, and Jason Parker of Louisville; daughter Mona (Dave) Flynn of Madison Heights, MI; three grandsons, Justin (Jen) Shaffer of Madison Heights, MI and Robert Parker and Billy Parker, of Troy, MI; two step-daughters; three step-sons; two step-grandsons; four step-granddaughters; five great-granddaughters; thirteen step-great-grandchildren; and seven step-brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be Friday, December 29, 2017, at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Curtis McGehee officiating. Burial in Memorial Gardens in Powderly. Visitation will be Thursday, December 28, 2017, after 5:00PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at
