BREMEN - Raymond Bennett Harlan, 79, of Bremen, died Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at 11:14AM at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Mr. Harlan was born March 8, 1936, in Muhlenberg County. He was retired from Peabody Coal Co. as an electrician, and was also a retired farmer. He was a member of Mercer Baptist Church. He loved his two dogs, Sadie and Sally. He also loved when all of his children and family were together. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Ethel Harlan.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Wilma Harlan; sons Mike (Laura) Harlan of Birmingham, AL, Randy (Donna) Harlan of Moorman, and Gary Harlan of Naples, FL; sister Joyce (Joe) Knowles of Owensboro; grandchildren Jason, Mindy, and Brandon; great-grandchild Wyatt; and two nephews.

Funeral services will be Sunday, February 7, 2016, at 2:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Curtis McGehee officiating. Burial in Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday after 9:00AM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
