GREENVILLE - Rose Catherine Braunecker Rogier, 91, of Greenville, died Thursday, October 2, 2014, at 8:45AM at Maple Manor Nursing Home. Mrs. Rogier was born August 27, 1923, in Uniontown, IN. She married Victor Rogier on October 8, 1947. She worked as a waitress during WWII at the Starlight Hotel in Cannelton, IN. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church since 1947. She loved cooking and quilting, and could sew anything. She loved to can fresh food, read, dance, and play rummy. She loved her relationships with her family. Her charity work was making baby quilts for Pathway of Hope. She was preceded in death by her father, Jospeh Braunecker; mother Mary Adeline Braunecker; husband Victor Rogier; daughter Catherine Louise Rogier; and brothers August Braunecker and William Braunecker.

Survivors include her sons, Paul David (Mary Katherine) Rogier of Morganfield and William "Bill" Joseph Rogier of N. Augusta, SC; daughters Victoria Susan Rogier of Mesa, AZ and Ruth Ann (Jaymes Carroll) Norris of Central City; grandchildren Josefina Marie Miranda, Valerie Hertneck, Alexander Joseph Rogier, Jaymes Robert Norris, and Justin Bell; great-grandchild Megan Hertneck; and sister Anna Heeke of Tell City, IN.

Funeral services will be Monday, October 6, 2014, at 10:00AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Central City, with Father Ben Luther officiating. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery in St. Croix, IN. Visitation will be Sunday after 5:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Pathway of Hope, 114 Court Street, Greenville, KY 42345.
