SACRAMENTO - Shelby Jean Arnett, 78, of Sacramento, went to be with her heavenly family on Monday, February 29, 2016, at 10:05PM at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Mrs. Arnett was born October 25, 1937, in McLean County to the late Clifton and Geneva Davis. She was a homemaker and member of Towers Chapel United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Marvin Arnett; sister Opal Tucker; brother Coleman Davis; and nephew Gray Tucker.

She is survived by her son, Jason (Katlyn) Arnett; daughter Ramona "Moni" Arnett; brother Curtis Davis; grandsons Jeremiah (Temeca) Arnett and James Arnett; granddaughters Genia Arnett, Mylinda Turner, and Leah (Jordon) Carroll; three great-granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 5, 2016, at 11:00AM at Towers Chapel United Methodist Church in Sacramento, with Bro. Tony Blake officiating, assisted by Rev. Danny Greene. Burial in Free Union Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5-8PM at the church. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
