BREMEN - Steven Wayne Stirsman, 62, of Bremen, died Monday, January 14, 2019, at 11:52AM at his home. Mr. Stirsman was born May 14, 1956, in Daviess County. He was a motor mechanic at Hibbs Electric in Madisonville, and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Katherine Stirsman.

He is survived by his wife, Sherrie Chaney Stirsman; son Cody Stirsman of Bremen; daughters Amanda (Jamie) Messamore of Madisonville and Jennifer (Christopher) Ward of Dawson Springs; grandchildren Tyler Messamore, Zackary Messamore, Grayson Messamore, Abigail Ward, and Ava Ward; and sister JoLynn (Rodney) Vincent of Madisonville.

Funeral services will be Thursday, January 17, 2019, at 11:00AM at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Bremen, with Bro. Leroy Rearden officiating. Burial in Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday after 5:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Mr. Stirsman will lie in state at Bethlehem Baptist Church on Thursday after 9:00AM. Online condolences may be made at
