SACRAMENTO - Susie Dee Dossett, 92, of Sacramento, died Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at Live Oak Retirement Center in Shreveport, LA. Mrs. Dossett was born April 29, 1924, in Muhlenberg County. She was a retired Vice-President at Sacramento Deposit Bank. She was a member of Sacramento United Methodist Church, where she served on the Official Board, as Treasurer, and teacher of the Women's Sunday School class. She attended the Bowling Green Business University and served as substitute teacher for McLean County Schools during WWII. She was a member of the Sacramento Order of the Eastern Star #67 and the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman V. Dossett; and daughter Norma Sue Dossett.

She is survived by her son, Jon Michael (Cathy) Dossett of Bossier City, LA; and grandchildren Andrew Michael Dossett (fiancee' Alyssa Cavazos), Jon Garrett Dossett, Kinzli Presley, and Kyson Presley.

Graveside funeral services will be Sunday, March 5, 2017, at 1:30PM at Sacramento United Methodist Cemetery, with Rev. Michael Deaton officiating. Burial to follow. Visitation will be Saturday after 5:00PM and Sunday after 10:00AM at Tucker Memorial Chapel in Sacramento. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
